Okay... I also gave strong consideration to (in chronological order) Plato, Shakespeare, Richard Burton, Hermann Weyl and Richard Feynman. If Russell's not available, I'll more than happy to take any of those.

I beg to differ. For example, have you noticed how wrong Shakespeare is about Joan of Arc?

Is the historical Caesar and Shakespeare's Caesar same?

Whether or not a history play counts as fiction is debatable...but if you chose e.g. Tolkien there'd be no ambiguity.

I don't know about the breath, but there's no reasonable doubt about the babes...
