I suppose she would survive, unless the Bastard steps in and takes her. She's sometimes considered the question of her next human partner if the need arose, for example when she pointed out that she'd choose Nikys rather than Adelis. Whereas the option of dying with Penric is one she doesn't even seem to have considered.

However, after Penric the question would arise of what pronoun to use for this demon, whose most recent memories would be masculine.

However, I'm suppose I'm glad that you anticipate a long life for Penric—I like him.

I'm also heartened by the reflection that when an author anticipates a long life for a character, it implies that the character is expected to generate more stories. :)
