I had many theories about the ending myself, but I always thought Val died with him, as well.
After loving the three books, the ending didn't really sit right with me. A sequel sounds really great. Can't wait for it. I loved the trilogy and I look forward to more work of you in the future!

Thank you! I am really excited to write the last book. This has always been one of my favorite series and I was really sad to end it. I actually deliberated over about ten different endings before settling on this one. It seemed the most fitting, and the most right.

I am not going to lie to you: first I was really upset with the ending, because I cared about Gavin. I think it's the talent of an author of making a fictional character so intriguing and interesting that you don't care if they are the villain or the hero.

Why did you finally decide to kill him?
I believe it must have been a hard choice for you as well.

I was originally planning a sequel where he lived...but the more I thought about it, the less I liked it. Books in this genre always have the heroine falling for and then marrying the psycho--and me, I like going against the mold.
