the one i am thinking of had a nobleman/prince who was travelling-but the king and queen were suspicious of him because he arrived without the usual tons of luggage an assistants and such-so the queen puts the pea in his matresses....it doesn't take place in modern times...it was a fairytale....sound familiar?
