I hear ya there. I wrote a lighthearted m/m fantasy romp in a very non-traditional fantasy world, and I *finally* found a publisher... which promptly went out of business a year later. Was good times! Writing to publish is dreadful!

That said, though... you'd have at least one reader of Jack's PoV (me)... and I'm sure many others, if you self-published!

And, for what it's worth, I could totally see TWK making a great movie.
