Alas, I have a family of diverse tastes. My wife reads fiction only in Spanish—and neither fantasy nor sf, so far. My 20-year-old son doesn't seem to read fiction at all; perhaps he'll pick it up later?
Maybe you can get lucky and find a friend willing to give it a try and strike up a conversation. Good luck.
