Christomir Rackov Wow, do you mean that there's actually a chance that the graphic novel COULD still be completed? :O That would be such an incredible pleasant surprise. :) I have to admit I never asked for a refund, so I am technically still "waiting for delivery". Does it mean that, if it does get completed, it might be sent (even if delayed by many years, and not by the same company) to people like me, who stubbornly waited for it and didn't ask for refunds?

Andrew I asked for a refund but never received it.

Cairi I'm like Christomir and decided to wait it out and see if they finished... I guess I missed it where they went out of business. :-/ It's such a shame the project failed, because I really liked the sample pages I saw (which is one of the reasons I took a chance and didn't ask for a refund). It'd be terrific if the project were picked up again.

Matt Tyree In my opinion, instead of just vanishing with everyone's money, they should have AT LEAST thrown us a pdf of everything they had. Surely, they could have done more than they did for the supporters of the project.
I am very glad to hear Michael is pursuing something further with this. He's a stand-up guy. Like Christomir, I have had worry that people would over-associate Micheal with the project and blame him.

Jörg I don't know if any of you noticed already, but there's someone who recently managed to get a response from the people behind Dabel Brothers through sheer perseverance. She is detailing the whole endeavour within the comment section of the project on Kickstarter, currently at update number 6. Allegedly their most recent response was this:

"Apologies for the late reply. We've been on hold for a while but will be looking to make an announcement in the coming month as we get back into gear. We will be sending 100% refunds along with the items purchased through the Kickstatrer. Thank you for your patience."

Christomir Rackov @Jörg "100% refunds along with the items purchased through the Kickstatrer" - what does that even mean? o_O Frankly, I don't want a refund - I just want my graphic novel, if somehow possible.

Jörg @Christomir Honestly, to me it just sounds like hot air, replying just for the sake of it. I wouldn't put much trust into anything they say at this point. Especially since they appear to have a long history of shady behaviour. I fully expect them to go radio silent again and for that enduring person to launch into her next steps.

Fingers crossed for Michael's talks with a different company however. I'd never have expected any chance of still receiving a product after all this time, so that would be truly amazing!
