I am saddened to hear this, and I will pray for the progress of her soul. How will you continue to write?

Dear Irene:

Thank you for your kind words. I am working on the next Rutledge and it is difficult. I remind myself of Caroline's determination and try to draw on that for support. I am primarily concerned with maintaining the standards we set for our work. If I can live up to that there will be more mysteries. Time will tell,
