Thanks so much for answering - and the transparency. I keep looking forward to whatever is next.
I find this question interesting since an encounter the issue a lot…as an freelance editor, I frequently edit for authors who have more than one book in a series and I will be constantly the one to catch the inconsistencies of things (like a character’s eye color or the names of their children, family, etc) and I always think ‘as the author you’ve created these characters! They should resonate in your imagination more than mine.’ And as a voracious reader, I dislike when I stumble across the inconsistencies in characters I’ve had long histories with, immersed myself into their lives and stories and had many, many years of enjoying reading…so I beg my authors to please please make the character ‘stalker walls’ as so eloquently put or stalker virtual diagrams nowadays. :-), as, of course, it gets increasing harder as the longevity of career spans…and multiple main characters (and sub characters) are created…but what a wonderful ‘problem’ to have, a successful career where people desire and anticipate sequels or series of the worlds you have created.
