How very, very sad.
Yes, so sad. He was their only child also....His father called us when the officers came to his house to deliver the news. We waited there for three hours for my friend, his mother, who was driving home from a trip. We were there when she was given the news. That I will never forget...

I find it odd and sad that Frederick was brave enough to resist evil at the school but not brave enough to confront his parents.
