One of Heyer's books, The Reluctant Widow, was actually filmed, but from what I understand the result was so dire, etc., that she never wanted to go through the experience again. I am told one can view it on YouTube, but I've never had the urge...
Better that Miles lives on in our imaginations than be "crippled" by Hollywood.
