It is such a beautifully written novel, there is no way you will not like it! The plot is amazing and truly one of a kind.
I think it's about the journey. Sam had some things she needed to learn about herself and about life before she died. And in the end, [POTENTIAL SPOILER] her death meant something. It wasn't just a random event.
Lauren's description of the point of the book is wonderful.
