Julie I am so glad to read that your stance on film adaptations of books is very much like my own overall. I've always been slightly annoyed by people who staunchly compare every detail of a book to its film adaptation, and rubbed even more wrong by authors who can't embrace the idea of their work inspiring a DIFFERENT art form's take on it. They are most definitely their own experiences and entities of art for me.

Sandy Smith Since I live in Galveston, I would love to see Isaac's Storm made into a movie. I have always known about the storm of 1900 but the book really educated me about why it was so catastrophic.
