Thanks Benedict. I feared you would say that. I'm trying to improve my British English whenever I get the chance and now I accidently ordered the US edition. But that should be fixable :-) Thanks again
So in other words, Benedict, the difference comes down to whether to spell it correctly or not... ;)
:( I hate that they do this. The publishers should not change the books to publish them in the US.
I wish it was the UK versions sold in Canada! But I do love the books.
I appreciate the different words used in UK editions of books. These words help expand my vocabulary.
The paperback editions I've been reading use "colour" and "favour." etc., but also US terms like "bathroom" for toilet and "living room" for parlour. Are these the Canadian editions? ;)
