Kitkat Darkfold And this is why you're one of my top 3 favorite authors ever. Which in my case is saying a lot! It's hard not to judge characters in books based on the perspectives of other character's books, and I try not to with yours because they are so diverse. I couldn't help myself when I read Ash's book though. I just wanted to jump in the pages and cuddle him! So sad. You have such a way of making your characters feel so real! I still don't know that I want to like him, but like the true fan girl of the series I am, I'm going to give him his turn too. Apparently Styxx's book is quite a tear-jerker too so I picked up a box of tissues as well, and I'm sure I'll be fan girling by the time it's finished. At least according to my sources (best friend who is a firm Ash fan girl) I will be. Thank you for the amazing answer, amazing books, and the countless hours of laughs/tears/frustration/whatever entertainment. You are awesome!

Natasa Djordjevic-jorgacevic OMG!!! These two books left me breathless for days... I cried while reading them, so much, my husband asked me several times is something wrong! Kikkat, if Ash's book broke your hart, than be prepared for another heartache...

message 10: by Chelsea (new)

Chelsea I'm so glad I read this. I'm about 1/4 through Styxx and his book just leaves me so hurt for him (and Ash). Your words here have given me the courage to continue reading (and hurting) to get to the other side. Some times it can be difficult to get to remember to be strong. I'm glad (and very appreciative) for the reminder.

Tara Dorough Sherrilyn that got be one the best well answered questions have read an author. I absolutely love your books. I even came by your section at Dragoncon in Atlanta last year. Thank you for being so thoughtful and honest about your answer for why you wrote Ash and Styxx's stories. I felt every emotion possible while reading their stories. I can't even imagine what you must have felt while writing them. Your depth of your characters is why you are a world renowned best selling author. Thank you for giving all of us an awesome world to delve into.

message 14: by Bernadett (new)

Bernadett I just finished reading Acheron and it was a totally stylish and well-written book!!!!

message 15: by Asia (new)

Asia Wicht When I first read Acheron, I wanted to throw the book across the room and choke Artemis (Still want to choke her) and throughout the series, I didn't like Styxx. Until I picked his damn book up. Then I wanted to be mad at Acheron and hug Styxx. I love them both now, but they both made me cry. I cried more during Styxx than Acheron though.

message 16: by Gretchen (new)

Gretchen So... I loved Acheron, until I read Styxx! I wish we would have gotten a bit more conversation between Acheron and Styxx... Acheron got off way easy in Styxx's book...

message 17: by Katherine (new)

Katherine Gelat I just finished Acheron and I am in awe of your writing and your ability to create an amazing tale. I was so angry and heartbroken for what he had to endure. I am delighted that he got his wish to be loved. Thank you for a wonderful story!!!

message 18: by Jamie (new)

Jamie Mowlah yoour books are a cut above the rest.... I am constantly amazed how the character development goes and how well you let us view them from different perspectives. we each have our hurt and that sometimes blinds us to the hurt we inflict on others.

Eric I read Styxx and it's fantastic, it had some scary and brutal moments but great ones as well. Styxx is such a great character, I really love your writing.
