I had mixed feelings about the ending when I first finished Between Shades of Grey. I absolutely loved the book, but there were so many unanswered questions. I couldn't get it out of my head. It then hit me that your ending was in fact perfect. How many real people lost loved ones to that experience and never received any answers? In writing that brilliant letter you gave us something precious. Something that many people in that situation would value more than any material possession. This book felt so real, the characters remain with me. Thank you for sharing it with us.
