I should like to add to my above comment that I highly recommend "The Exrtreme Novelist" by Kathryn Johnson, available on Amazon. In it Kathryn challenges the idea that you have no time to write, but she also clearly explains the "movie in the mind" or "show not tell" technique mentioned in my answer above.
