Isobel Miller Thanks for answering! I figured some far-right organization made those versions for conservative Christian parents or something.

The Sid The Sun and the Star musta been a pain for those people

Shreeya I have a lot of christian friends who love Percy Jackson, and would've prefered the LGBTQ+ content to be removed to align with their beliefs. I personally don't have a problem with it, but I would want kids with conservative parents to get to read this amazing series with the LGBTQ+ content removed than not at all.

Isobel Miller I'd imagine this version gave Nico a girlfriend in Will's place; the story could be about him and her. Of course, the original story does go into LGBTQ+ struggles and Nico's experience as a gay person, which you can't really do with straight Nico in a heterosexual relationship.

Katarafan What on earth, they really went THAT far

Nadia It's called russian censorship. They have a thing for it, they can even ban books if there's even a hint of LGBTQ+.
