Great question. I had forgotten about Master Raymond.
While rereading MOBY, I wondered if Claire's parents *really* died in a car crash, or if they were accidental travelers like Jeremiah MacKenzie. I'm thinking perhaps both of her parents were because children with two TT parents seem more powerful (like Jem and Mandy), and Claire seems to have more power than Bree or Roger.
I wonder if we will be finding out more about Claire's parents.
Stephanie, that is a good point. I still think she is a descendent, because her powers are not as strong as someone who is closely related or directly from Master Raymond. I'm guessing her father's lineage comes from Fergus, now that you make that point, I wonder about her mother's parentage. I wonder who descends from Dr. Hector McEwan, as he left 2 children in his original time.
