Wow! It is wonderful to hear from my favorite author personally. Thank you!!! After some brainstorming (mainly consisting of Maxwell House), it could be quite practical if an Athosian escaped, such as Terrance's red-headed son (a double-dose of the gene might not require the tyramine) who traveled into the mainline story, along with his brother, Ethan and Quinn's son as an accomplice. . .
If you need a double dose, it's actually a recessive trait, not dominant. Unless there's something really funny going on with more than two sets of chromosomes. :)
I probably meant recessive, but really, it's a complex of genes not just one (presumably linked somehow), and I prudently never specified the mechanisms. Other versions are possible; actual geneticists can come up with some truly bizarro ones.

Yeah, like male-pattern baldness being inherited strictly from the mother (if you want to know if you're going to go bald, take a look at your maternal uncle(s) or maternal grandmother's brother(s).
This actually bothers me a lot.Why would Ethan contaminate the egg banks? Since no one could tell them what was going to happen, I see the first occurrences when boys did the equivalent of steal beers and eat pizza to get thst tyramine up. Psychotic breaks would be suspected.I seean increase suicide since no.one could help them. When Ethan going admit to this? I see this horribly unethical.
