Actually Merenda, I vaguely remember my Sony Reader doing that once as well. It's the rubbish software they use. I'm going to get a Kindle one of these days to avoid all the mess around. You just mail your file with a Kindle. So much easier.
I didn't have any trouble. I have the Kindle app on my phone. I downloaded Dropbox, then I DLed the file for Deadly Messengers, then I had the option to open the file using Kindle. I clicked on it and Voila! it opened up in the Kindle app. Easy Peazy!
Yes, that's the thing with Kindle. I've got to say it's the easiest system. Really Amazon has been a wonderful Godsend for readers and authors. Glad you've got it now.
