I loved how Molly was an important catalyst & puckish in the JDitE universe. When I read those books, I perceived that Molly was really the saviour & not David whom I originally thought was the most important protagonist who would solve the worlds problems. In a way, Molly reminded me of various wolves & dogs in fantasy books I read in the past.

As for Stink Machine, is there any connection between him & other cats in literature or films, such as in Alice's Adventures in Wonderland or Inside Llewyn Davis?
