Thank you for that answer! Devil in the White City actually opened up an entirely new interest for me with architecture and landscape design.
Being a North Carolina native with family roots in the Asheville region, I am familiar with Frederick Law Olmsted and his work. I too would like suggestions on a good biography or narrative regarding him and his work. Can you suggest one you found?
