Isn't Royce supposed to be a tiny little elf guy? Hah. I always forget that people in the English speaking world are giants. :) He has 8 or 9 inches on me, and I'm done growing.
@Betule - don't forget that the actual elves of Erivan are not "tiny and little" at all, so the "mir" wouldn't necessarily be so short either. I guess it depends on the genetics of their (in this case - Royce's) human ancestors. Anyway, I can tell you 5' 8" is indeed short for a male, of almost any race (and in almost any world).
