I sure hope to see the books come alive on screen.
Get whoever made the Game of thrones into a tv series. They perfectly castes each character and kept true to the storyline.
Oh my goodness, Riyria would make an excellent TV series if it were produced by the right people.
@Kim - I strongly disagree. Benioff and Weiss haven't kept true to the ASoIaF storylines at all! On the contrary - especially now, in recent seasons of GoT, when they no longer have much source material to work with (since GRRM is taking ages writing the last 2 books), they are trying to incorporate a lot of their own original ideas, and some of those are quite nonsensical and absurd. I believe it all comes from lack of imagination and writing talent in general - they are simply unable to come up with anything better for those storylines. IMHO, Benioff and Weiss are great showrunners and producers, but awful writers. That was why I was asking Michael whether he would trust someone like that with adapting and modifying his work for the screen.
