Fingers crossed for sooner!
I've been reading Sci-Fi for many, many more years than I care to acknowledge and I like to humbly think that I have a fairly high critical standard. Shades of Grey is, to quote Rob Lowe in Parks & Rec, LITERALLY one of the best Sci-Fi books I've ever read. The instant I finished it I was immediately desperate to find a sequel or prequel and was devastated to learn that none would be forthcoming for years. I'm sorry to hear that it's not one of your best sellers - obviously yet another example of pearls before swine. For what it's worth, which probably isn't much, add one additional pleading vote for more adventures of Eddie Russett.
I've been waiting for another Shades of Grey since the first one came out. I loved it even more than the Thursday Next books and spent longer than I can remember trying to answer all the questions in the back.
Do you think Fifty Shades of Grey helped or harmed sales?
Shades of Grey is my favorite book and I recommend it to friends all the time but I am looking forward to any new books you will write. I've yet to read one of your book that I didn't like.
