Of course, his answer might be "Folio?" since I forget how much of a hand he had in the publication of a lot of his plays at all - I think the publication may have been equivalent to / parallel to - well, think reconstructing a musical score from radio "airchecks" or something? Not sure... (and then the modern editions "fix" all the "v"s into "u"s etc. - as I should have realized, spelling of his era not being anything like ours... anyhow. Sorry. It's your series, after all, that introduced me to the once-existence of Cardenio, which I then looked up with growing fascination- apologies for the long comment.
