After a conversation with another fan earlier today, I came here specifically to ask if you'd ever thought about writing a book about Merrick and Royce in the Black Diamond! Glad to see other people have had the same thoughts. Personally, I'd love to read about Royce's days being a completely vile person and my response to "people might not like him anymore" is "challenge accepted!"... but then, I love terrible characters, so I'm a bit biased. :P
