I have to agree. Even though I've thought it would be fun to see the leopards cross into the Dark series, I'm not sure that any of the crossover ideas between Christine Feehan's various series could work...too well. I feel that it does seem to work out better between the various Sci-Fi and/or Fantasy series though.
I like the series as stand alone worlds where I can visit beloved characters in the worlds where they have been brought to life. Cross-over stories have never been satisfactory to me. Some cross-overs have ruined entire series for me, so I'm very glad it won't happen with beloved Carpathian, Ghostwalker, Leopard, or Shadow characters.
