I see now,so they are all connected by answering to the Prince. If I offended I did not mean too. Never had anyone contact you with that feeling,huh,guess I had an odd opinion. But thank you for answering my questions.
As the many books of the Dark Series progress, the Carpathians are linked through the Prince, through family, through relationships. The characters of Dark Gold will show up again in future books.

Dark Gold was the first book I read of the Dark Series. I immediately returned to the book store and purchased, Dark Prince, Desire, and Magic. Dark Desire (book #2) is Jacques story, and was my #1 book until Dark Slayer. Reading the books in order sets up the storyline, and the ongoing plot against the Prince, and the Carpathians as a species. Enjoy the journey.
Ah,Adaiah,thank you as well,it helps me very well,cause I was wondering if it was alright to read them out of order of in order,much obliged.
