I just wanted to say that I recently read Mark of the Thief and I LOVED it! I was really hesitant because I'm so particular about what Greek and Roman mythology I read, but I loved, loved, loved this book! Nic was a great character, and though the Ascendance Trilogy is near to my heart, Mark of the Thief wormed it's way into their as well!
