Not to be pushy or demanding, but I felt a need to voice my support for Tara's idea. As a fan of the Vorkosiverse, I see shorts as a great way to deal with the expanded focus if it suited your muse. Simply put, after reading the Penric novellas, I've found that I quite like a good brace of serialized shorts and I do see how that could fit quite well with the widening of the focus for the VKs. That said, I can completely understand wanting to have GJ&tRQ bracket the series from start to finish. You've created a very nice story loop there. Thanks either way!
