Susan Watanabe So lucky! We lost all of our apples, most of our peaches and oranges, and now the Concord grapes....all due to predation from giant roof rats. They are fat and happy this year. :-(

M.J. Logue Eeeps! You just reminded me I have to check on my one, single, solitary grape bunch. Well check ME out with the pergola! I suspect Whiskers deals with the rodent population.

Susan Watanabe My Josie likes to stay out all night and simply watch the rats. She once caught one and very gently brought him over to me and dropped him on the lawn at my feet. I would've hit him with my shoe, but he was bigger than my foot. I can't put out poison so I'm stuck with the fuzzy bastards. At least they are cute ;-)
