True enough! What made me connect the two was the back-and-forth dialogue between human and demon. Not quite as witty as Pen/Des but very reminiscent. I'd like to think that other writers are being influenced by you!
4am. Windy outside. Woke up from bad dreams about demons dying out at sea. I think my mind turned the wind into their howls. :(
