I was going to say, Tolkien, but I might prefer the works of C.S. Lewis more for their variety. Music would be Bach, and food would be oatmeal! I love it and it's healthful!
I loved Lord of the Rings and The Silmarillion, but I have read the series several times and I think I would need a more prolific booklist to keep me occupied. This is a desert island, after all, and it is one year! I have tried to get through the books by Christopher Tolkien on his grandfather's work but they are too dry for me. Bach is wonderful but if we are talking classical music, I do lean more towards Beethoven because of the passion in the music. Oatmeal? No,no,no. Haha.
