Heather I love how you incorporate religion into your fantasy of Chalion. As a person of faith it makes it seem more real, relatable, and vital to me, because it echos how religion and faith are integrated into my own life.

Jonathan Palfrey I've never believed in any religion myself, but the Five Gods work for me as fantasy. I don't really see them as 'religion', because I'd describe religion as something you believe in without evidence. Whereas the stories provide plenty of evidence for the existence of gods and demons—even though most people in that world may never get to see the evidence themselves.
