Gail Poag Smith :D

Chandré De Wet Do you enjoy the fact that you are left wondering though?... For me I couldnt put the book down, but now that I got to the end I'm a bit dissappointed...

message 5: by Reikon (new)

Reikon If by interesting you mean, frustrating, then yes.

message 6: by Niels (new)

Niels Dinnesen Arlene, this is a very good point. This is exactly what the author wants. That we wonder.

message 7: by Patricia (new)

Patricia I like that, it makes you think about it even when you've already finished reading the book.

message 8: by Cindy (new)

Cindy Just an idea... He put the key in the model house so she'd know he left the stone in the grotto.

message 9: by Robby (new)

Robby Johnson But she specifically went down into the kennel grotto at high tide and returned something to water.

message 10: by Ant (new)

Ant totally agree, this ambiguity of the ending parallels that of the book Marie-Laure was reading

message 11: by Susan (new)

Susan it is no coincidence that the book she was reading was 20,000 leagues under the sea. Everything so well planned by the author
