think i have a couple of those waiting in the read pile
The only question I asked about sci-fi is because at the recent movie night during a Thor binge watch we were complaining about the lack of sci-fi with fantasy elements and the amazing when your drunk idea of a "star wars but with vikings" came up along with your name as someone you would love to see try and write it (first choice was David Gemmell but we agreed your the heir apparent)

Haha, Thor's a great example of Sci-fi and Vikings. I did see a film like that - called Outlander, I think, where a space pilot is chasing some kind of escaped monster and they crash in Dark Ages Norway - a real mash up of Viking saga and sci-fi. I do remember enjoying it, once I got used to the two genres blending. :)
gems would have done it brilliantly - and thank you for mentioning me in the same sentence as him, that's absolutely made my day - he is one of the reasons I love fantasy, and has been a huge influence on my writing.
