That is an interesting thought, I’d like to know too what they’re doing with Miles’ blood.
Obviously, using it to create Ba versions of hyperactive obnoxious busybodies who poke their noses into places that could get them cut off, and then shaking their Haut heads and putting the vials and cells back in the freezer. :-)
I don't think so. He essentially bested their best...twice. I think they ran off 6 copies and then studied them. It's interesting to me, because Cetaganda is the place where a Miles with no damage would be considered sub-par, I mean, he's a natural (horror). So he would end up with the same drive to prove himself as he did when he was being treated like a mutant on Barrayar. So, six Miles, trying to prove themselves... I wonder if they'll cooperate... maybe manage to steal a ship and escape Cetaganda... would they wind up on Cordelia's doorstep? They'd be able to research, and it would be clear to anyone who looks that she would regard clones of Miles as sons... what would she do with these half-grown copies of Miles, all with chips on their shoulders, Cetanganda wanting their property back... this is fun!
It's hard to stop! I'm imagining Cordelia, content, her life is good because SHE DESIGNED it to be good. She has a guy she loves nearby, a house she enjoys on land she chose in a world she helped create, children that she has always wanted. And then there is a knock on the door.
