Sounds like women need to vote more women into office!
@Closet Rebel: women and queer will do well to vote into office more people - perhaps heavy on the women and queer - who will legislate for automation of infrastructure, so All can stop toiling and live a life each wants.

Kathy Hochul was elected governor of New York in fall of 2022, inaugurated Jan 1 2023. Women are making progress in politics. No. Woman elected governor in my state yet (UT) though we have had 2 women lieutenant governors.

As the franklin quote supposedly goes, "A republic, if you can keep it." It never truly has been. People are left uninformed or deliberately misinformed.
From childhood we are taught lies of our heroes and idols.

The US is more desperately in need of voting reform than perhaps any country in the world. Proportional Representation would elect more women. Proportional Representation would bring to a blessed end what Lee Drutman calls the Two-Party Doom Loop.
