I have a vivid memory of where I was when I listened to the end of Cryoburn: in the car, stuck in traffic, going down a huge hill, with tears streaming down my face. And it still gets me every time!
I have to jump in this one too. Gregor's phrase was truly touching. I was weeping almost like I lost my own father with that one.
I go to the Vorkosigan series time and time again to bring me up when I'm feeling down. Fighting depression is a big issue for me as a home-bound handicapped person. I laugh through most of the books and I loved the romance of "Shards of Honor" and "Barrayar" (and I'm a guy). I have spent many happy hours reading and re-reading your works. I have even re-read Cryoburn which ends on a positive note.
