Can't we go back to where you thought it was twelve years instead of 10 and we get 12 books? I think that was a better plan.

Well, I wonder where I got 12 stuck in my head! Lol. Thanks for your detailed answer. My 14 year old nephew recommended this series to me and we've had a delightful time discussing it!
Hmmm...I thought Theft of Swords, Rise of Empire and Heir of Novron took place over the course of like a year, maybe 2 years.
