This is why you are my favorite author! I wish J.L. Langland was as prolific and kept in touch with his fans the way you do.
I thought that one of the joys of this series was that, from the very first chapter I could hazard a discomfiting guess at Eric’s end (or at least, an iteration of it *wink wink*). However, as suggested by some very subtle hints about destination vs. journey by some of the character’s musings in the series, the book itself is a joy in its telling. I am willingly enraptured.
