So people are thinking Goodreads is a book downloading site...
Hello, Softness! I know a year has passed since, but I can give you a unique insight into the mind of those people... So, imagine you are idly googling for a book (a whole e-book for you to peruse) and stumble upon a site which you have never heard about: goodreads. The site looks sufficiently legit for you to check it, there seem to be a lot of books listed there, and the design of the said site is so bad that it positively can pass for some private platform for sharing ebooks, legislation and authors' fees aside. Now, you manage to register and have a quick look around, but the site's design is really so oblique that you can make no heads or tails of it. And so the journey begins... Remember, the planet is larger than a signle continent, English, despite it's current status as a lingua franca, has not quite reached every corner of the (un)civilized world, and so on.
It wasn't actually a question. It was an observation... But thanks for the personal insight. I think I would've been more confused if someone was on Goodreads looking to order groceries.
