Most of the books by Anita Nair is set in Kerala. eg: The Mistress and The Better Man. So, is The Ivory Throne by Manu S. Pillai.

A few books by Ruskin Bond is set in Dehradun and Mussoorie.

'The Adivasi Will Not Dance' by Hansda Sowvendra Shekhar - Jharkhand
