I read
for This. I found it among a couple of books my stepmother had given me and thought "what an ugly cover". The book itself was alright, a little funny in some spots, but would I continue reading the series? Nah.

I chose That and read
Hexed by Kevin Hearne. It was an urban fantasy novel involving supernatural creatures, an ageless Druid and witches. It was a second or third novel, can't remember, but it didn't feel like one. I got a good idea of who was who and how they behaved, so prop's to the author for that. But would I consider reading the first books or the last books? Nah. Too many books, too little time, haha.

I selected This and read
. RUOK? by Andy Futuro
I thought the cover was beautiful in its own abstract way. Furthermore, I was interested in the stylistic format that the author wrote in... until I read it. There was no indication who was talking for the first half of the book. I cannot even remember the name of the second person. It just sucked for stylistic choice. The book plot was okay, wouldn't call it a horror. More just a thriller.

Oh, I went to Facebook to find my answer to this, and then I got
distracted. Dang it.
Worst Read - Stranger in a Strange Land by Robert Heinlein. I think it just didn't age well. Which is funny because it was recommended to me.
Good Read - Year One by Nora Roberts. Honestly, if she wrote more books like this, I'd read more stuff by her.
Absolute Best Read - Jackal by Erin E. Adams
Unforgettable Read- it's a split between From Below by Darcy Coates and Mirrorland by Carole Johnstone

I chose That and read
Sins of the House of Borgia by Sarah Bower. This is a reread but heck if I remember it from 4 years ago, felt like a new book, haha. It was about a handmaid to Lucrezia Borgia named Violante and her life in the courts that they all frequented. I love historical retellings like this. Makes me feel like I'm living history in the pages of a book but modernized.
