Just yesterday I tried posting a review for a book on Amazon and I got rejected because they said I received the book for free or at a discount and they are no longer accepting reviews from those types of books. What should I do now?

I am reading To Catch An Earl by Kate Bateman. I am really enjoying it!
Sarah wrote: "What are the emails from NetGalley and the Publisher saying? Is it possible they sent you a bad copy and want to send an updated on instead?"That the missing words were a part of the editing process, which I've never found in any other ARC.

I recently read a book that had so many missing words that I couldn't understand the story. On top of that, there were several other mistakes found. I gave the book a rare 1 star, and now I have the publisher and Netgalley themselves emailing me about my review.
Now, I usually don't comment on editing mistakes as long as it's readable, but I couldn't get through one page of this book. Was I right to give my honest review or should I just never give one star reviews? Please help! Thanks!

I am reading Body On Baker Street: A Sherlock Holmes Bookshop Mystery by Vicki Delany. I love it so far.

Again, thanks anyway everyone!

I uploaded my profile picture to NetGalley and it came out sideways! Help!

I'm reading FOREVER IN GOOD HOPE. I am really liking it so far. I'm 43% through it.

I'm reading Death Of A Lobster Lover by Lee Hollis.

When I get a book that I can't put on my Kindle, this is what I do:
Download the .acsm file to my computer.
Open it in Adobe Digital Editions.
Connect my Kobo (or other reader) to my computer with USB cord.
The reader shows up in my Adobe Digital Editions window.
Drag the book into the reader.
Done!
This works with pdf files, too?

I'm having the same problem, but I have another question. If you sign up for the Adobe reader, are you inundated with emails from different marketing groups? I got this message while I was signing up, that they would send your information to their marketing partners, and I'm trying to opt out of them.
Also, when you get a pdf file, does it go on your computer?
FYI, I have been using my kindle to read my NetGalley books so far.

I'm reading Addicted to the Duke by Bronwen Evans.

I'm reading The Antique House Murders by Leslie Nagel.

Netgalley uses JavaScript. I realized that JavaScript doesn't work with Microsoft Edge, and that's what I've been using. I opened up the old Explorer with Java and the review went through easily. My question is, how did I submit my other reviews without JavaScript?

Thanks for your response. I tried your suggestion, but it still didn't take my review.

I tried to send my review twice and after hitting the "send review" button, nothing happened. Does anyone know what's going on? I didn't see any error message. I contacted Netgalley, but only received a form response saying they will get back to me. Has anyone had this happen to them?
Help!

I'm reading A Night of Forever by Bronwen Evans. It's a historical romance.
