Erin’s comments from the 2-3-4 Challenge group.

I finished by Sandra Brown and surprised myself by loving it. This is not my usual style but I picked it up when it was the audible daily deal.

I'm now reading by Kristan Higgins but I'm struggling to get into it so we'll see what happens.

I've been inexcusably absent from Goodreads this year. I've been keeping up with things by popping in and reading threads like this one but updating has fallen by the wayside in my busy life! I get so many ideas from all of you though, so I'm grateful that you all find the time to post about what you're reading :).

My most noteworthy accomplishment of the year was probably reading through books 7-13 (the final book) of Kim Harrison's Hollows series. I waited and waited for the Trent payoff I had heard so many people speak of and it paid off big in the end. This ended up being one of my favourite UF series even though I was wishy-washy about it for the first several books.



I'm currently working my way through Cassandra Clare's Infernal Devices series and have finished the first book, . It was quite good and I'm on to the second book in the series now.

It's certainly a big adjustment but it's going well! My parents are coming in to our house to watch the girls and I'm only about a 10 minute drive away. I couldn't ask for much more! :)

This is my favourite series! Glad you're enjoying it too :). I read your review and agree that the tone of this one was a bit darker!

I'm officially back to work after my maternity leave so my reading has come to almost a grinding halt. I did however, manage to get up to date in the Arcana Chronicles series by Kresley Cole and it's the first series in years I've started and read back to back until I ran out of books! I just finished and gave it 5 stars.

I read your review on Sookie. I had a hard time getting hooked when I read it forever ago. I might give the series another go on audio since you enjoyed that format.

I finished , book 1 in the Hidden Legacy series, and I can't wait for the next book in the series to be released!

Haha! They are pretty fabulous. They must be if they came between me and Jamie Fraser ;).

That's amazing! I love the series and the show but I am ashamed to say that I still haven't watched the last two episodes of season 2! Darn babies take up all my time ;). I NEED to catch up before the third season starts.

I've recently finished , book 3 in the Arcana Chronicles series. I am HOOKED! This series has made night wakings with the babies much more bearable as I'm constantly looking for time to read these books. What better hour than when all is quiet in the middle of the night? :) On to book 4!

I am! I fear it may not be one you'd enjoy though. It has one of your least favourite tropes.

Wow! You're still keeping up with the Highland Guard series. That's a series I wish I'd stuck with. I envy you your dedication, I'm all over the place :).

Well, in order to preserve my integrity in this regard ;) ... I should forewarn you that the main character is very 16 throughout a lot of the first book. It was the underlying story threads that kept me going and they paid off big! :)
