Halloween! (4 new)
Nov 06, 2019 11:23AM

170053 I spent much of the day with a migraine, sadly. So all I did was watch some spooky Youtube videos and take a bath.

And wow...new post!

170053 Yeah, she was definitely getting up there.

I just finished reading Calls to Mystic Alice, from another author who's getting up there in years. Only this one's a psychic medium and her book was all about talking to spirits, soul pools, etc. I didn't really enjoy it - her views were very antiquated and there was a lot of Christian fear-mongering.

170053 This is a really interesting concept and I wish you a lot of luck and success with your project. As for getting good feedback and such, have you considered making a Facebook page for your book and inviting people who are unconventional go-getters and other types like that to look into it and discuss may how they relate or don't relate to the content of your book. Just an idea....but FB seems to be quite a hub for people sharing stuff like that so...

170053 Hmm it sounds more like you're talking about residual energy, the way it builds up and releases. Tragic events and intense emotions definitely leave their mark on a place or person and can manifest in really interesting ways.

Your second example makes me think of the Law of Attraction - that what you put out into the universe comes back to you in a sense. Sort of like you attract the vibes you're putting out into the world....and whether that really happens or not I still think it's very important to be mindful of our energy.

170053 I've been listening to SO MUCH Ghost lately. Their newest album Meliora is soooo gooood. And I quite like the newest 'incarnation' of Papa Emeritus.

170053 I want to recommend Ghost. They're this awesome Swedish metal band that's gaining fast acclaim across the world for being very theatrical and having a sound that harkens back to the early days of metal. Totally check them out!

170053 Mkay, but do you like him as a person? Do you have shared interests? Can you hold a meaningful conversation with him? I don't mean to disparage you in any way, but dating the most popular guy in school just because he's popular and hot typically doesn't make for a great relationship if there's nothing else to sustain it.
