I'm changing it up for the last 3 months of this year's book schedule. They will be member's choice. How it works is each member will have the option to choose one book of any genre to nominate for the month. Then the group will vote on those nominated books until one book is the winner!
Let's get things started, each member can nominate one book of their choice. This thread will be open til September 20th, so make sure you have your book listed below before that date! Happy Book Hunting!

Vanity Fair calls it one of the most anticipated books of the summer. Soon to be a major motion picture starring Scandal's Kerry Washington.
An addictive psychological thriller about a group of women whose lives become unexpectedly connected when one of their newborns goes missing.
They call themselves the May Mothers—a collection of new moms who gave birth in the same month. Twice a week, with strollers in tow, they get together in Prospect Park, seeking refuge from the isolation of new motherhood; sharing the fears, joys, and anxieties of their new child-centered lives.
When the group’s members agree to meet for drinks at a hip local bar, they have in mind a casual evening of fun, a brief break from their daily routine. But on this sultry Fourth of July night during the hottest summer in Brooklyn’s history, something goes terrifyingly wrong: one of the babies is abducted from his crib. Winnie, a single mom, was reluctant to leave six-week-old Midas with a babysitter, but the May Mothers insisted that everything would be fine. Now Midas is missing, the police are asking disturbing questions, and Winnie’s very private life has become fodder for a ravenous media.
Though none of the other members in the group are close to the reserved Winnie, three of them will go to increasingly risky lengths to help her find her son. And as the police bungle the investigation and the media begin to scrutinize the mothers in the days that follow, damaging secrets are exposed, marriages are tested, and friendships are formed and fractured

Have you read it? Are you watching?

FULLY AGREE! I've read the authors other work and have liked and have really liked so this is just crazy to me. Huge disappointment, I hate when I waste valuable reading time on books that literally make me mad when done. I'm still shaking my head.

I'm so sorry Sara. The books tend to be more Mystery/Thriller genre. When I first started this group it was just me and a few other friends and thats what we were into, the group has grown so I know we should offer more. That's why I'll be doing polls for Oct/Nov/Dec books so the group can decide! Also we have Buddy Reads where you can choose a book and ask others to read with you! I hope this helps and you'll want to stick around and be more involved! Happy Reading!

I think I'm in the mood for something light and fun. And I could even go for a little Alpha Male right now. So maybe something dark?! I don't know what I want. Ugh! Help me! 😬😏😂

She’s a friendly voice on the phone. But can you trust her?
The people who call End of the Line need hope. They need reassurance that life is worth living. But some are unlucky enough to get through to Laura. Laura doesn’t want them to hope. She wants them to die.
Laura hasn’t had it easy: she’s survived sickness and a difficult marriage only to find herself heading for forty, unsettled and angry. She doesn’t love talking to people worse off than she is. She craves it.
But now someone’s on to her—Ryan, whose world falls apart when his pregnant wife ends her life, hand in hand with a stranger. Who was this man, and why did they choose to die together?
The sinister truth is within Ryan’s grasp, but he has no idea of the desperate lengths Laura will go to…
Because the best thing about being a Good Samaritan is that you can get away with murder.
